World Blood Donor Day- June 14, 2013

June 14, 2013 is World Blood Donor Day! This year more than 4.5 million people in America will require a blood transfusion. It is through the generosity of blood donors, who roll up their sleeves to give blood, that helps to make everyday moments possible for patients in need. Less than 10% of eligible donors give blood regularly throughout the year, which can leave blood centers in short supply during high-need times like holidays. World Blood Donor Day honors blood donors for their important contributions within our community and encourages others to follow by example.

INBC could not help to make everyday moments possible for patients in need without the support of our blood donors. To help say thank you, we are excited to offer two free movie tickets redeemable online through the “Hero in Me” Rewards Program!

With our "Hero In Me" Rewards Program, you have an online connection to the Inland Northwest Blood Center where you can see your donation history, make and review appointments, see the points you’ve earned as well as view your total cholesterol results after each blood donation. Your two free movie tickets (1000 points) will be added to your online account after you have scheduled and kept your blood donation appointment in the month of February.
